We have the ability to prefabricate any custom wall design kit you could imagine. To get started, we simply need a few measurements along with a picture, drawing, and/or sketch of what you have in mind. From here, we’ll take your measurements and create 3D CAD drawings for your approval. So, send us those doodles on your morning coffee napkin, and let’s see if we can build you a custom specialty wall design kit.

Easy to Install
Easy to Install

Your specialty wall design will come with simple instructions making installation a breeze.

We understand that you might not, in the beginning, have absolute concrete dimensions. This is to be expected. What we're looking for is your ballpark dimensions for the width, length, and total height. Here's where the fun begins. We take your ballpark dimensions along with your doodles & sketches and turn them into 3D CAD drawings. From here, we'll keep tweaking them until we've accurately captured your vision.

  1. Measure the width, or the smaller side, to the nearest 1/8”.
  2. Measure the height, or the longer side, to the nearest 1/8”.
  3. Measure the height to the nearest 1/8”.

How long does it take to get my specialty wall design?

Specialty wall designs normally take 10 - 14 business days to manufacture (in most cases sooner). Then add a few days for shipping. Plan for 2 1/2 to a little over 3 weeks from date of order.

How do you ship my specialty wall design?

Depending upon the size of your specialty wall design and/or the size of your total order, it will either ship in boxes via UPS Ground or in a crate via UPS Freight. Once your order has finished processing (usually 1 business day after order), you'll be notified when and how it will ship. If you’d like to know before you order, call us and we’ll let you know.

How do you drywall a specialty wall design?

Drywalling a specialty wall design is comprised of measuring the curvature, cutting the drywall to the curvature, forming and fastening in place. While we currently don't have a specialty wall design drywall video, you can visit our YouTube page and watch some of our other drywall videos. While the application is different, the concepts are the same.

  • Wetting the back of the drywall will make the drywall easier to bend.
  • For a tighter radius, consider using a double layer of either ¼” or ¼” flex drywall.

How do you finish specialty wall designs?

Drywall, plaster, wood veneer, brick veneer, trim, tile… the list is seemingly endless. Whether you want your specialty wall design to have a simple or an ornate finish, the choice is yours. You can also watch our "7 Creative Ideas to Finish Your Ceilings & Archways" YouTube video.

There has never been a design by any of our architects that Archways & Ceilings has not been able to manufacture. Once you have used Archways & Ceilings, you will never want to do the arches and ceilings any other way.

We had a project with a large fireplace that sat against a tall wall. Something was missing from the design so I had the guys at Archways & Ceilings build me a large curved fireplace canopy to create a cool custom feature for this area.  The kit was made to my spec’s and was easy to assemble.  The combination of the straight lines of the fireplace and the bell curve shaped lines of the canopy truly makes this space one of a kind.

As a framing contractor, anything with a radius, prior to Archways & Ceilings, meant I or one of my skilled hands would have to build it.  What was time consuming and costly is now easy and affordable.  Their balcony rims transformed what would’ve been a laborsome task into a quick and easy job.
