Measuring your kitchen vent hood consists of providing measurements for the depth, width, face height, and total height. For clarification regarding these measurements, please use the above pricing calculator and click on the “?” tool tips next to each measurement.
Installing a kitchen vent hood begins with assembling the frame. Once assembled, attach the frame to the wall and then continue by attaching the curved front and side panel arches. For ease of mind, use a few screws and metal straps to securely fasten your vent hood to the wall. Custom installation instructions will be included to ensure a quick and easy install.
Drywall, faux metal, paint, stain, stone, stucco, wood and metal, tongue and groove, wood veneer, metal… the list is seemingly endless. Whether you want your kitchen vent hood to have a simple or an ornate finish, the choice is yours.
Before we begin building your monroe range hood, we will first email you 3D CAD approval drawings (design lead times vary based on workload; inquire with our sales team to get an accurate design lead time). Once you approve the drawings, typical lead times are 12 to 14 business days, plus a few additional days for shipping. Normally, the whole process can take anywhere from 2 1/2 to a little over 3 weeks, depending on how quickly you approve the drawings and/or if any revisions are needed to your drawings.
Drywalling a kitchen vent hood is comprised of measuring the curvature of the front and side slopes, cutting the drywall to the curvature, forming and fastening in place.
